This sorta bites....

Who'da thunk I could get spoiled so quickly. I decided last night adn this morning that I hate eating dinner alone, I hate going to bed alone, I hate waking up alone, I hate showering alone, I hate moisturizing myself and I hate driving alone. Well, okay, I don't HATE those things, but I don't like them much either.

We actually spent over an hour on the phone yesterday evening. I had no idea that we would actually have anything to say to each other, but we did.

It's amazing how the tiniest things can have the greatest impact. Mike said several things yesterday that just hit me so hard. I'd repeat them here, but I don't think anybody else would get it. And frankly, it's nobody else's business.

I also wasn't terribly surprised by this one. I actually really liked this quiz a whole lot. But it was really hard to answer, because each question only had 2 choices, and sometimes they both applied (despite the fact that they were opposite). Though, I suppose that this does represent the duality of my mind and spirit. It was good.

Also, Amanda, I have no idea what you should be when you grow up. Some people have obvious callings. I can't figure out what yours is. Well, that's not entirely true. I see you running a used book store, or maybe a children's book store. Yeah, and you could have all sorts of programs, like story time and puppet shows. I could see you being very happy doing such things. However, I don't know that it would utilize all of your talents as well as other things might.

Brook, your distaste for your job is incredibly familiar. It's almost as though I hear somebody else bitch about the same basic stuff ;-). I'll give you the same advice I give him - find something else! Anything else! You need to challenge yourself in a manner that's different than you're getting there. And you also need to be in it for yourself, you need to care about what you do.
