What a weekend!
2003-03-24 - 9:17 a.m.
My flight got in at around 7:00 this morning. I'm back in Atlanta, here at work, hopped up on caffeine and sugar, and ready to work. I've actually eaten 2 breakfasts - one in Newark at around 4 and one in Atlanta at a bit after 7. I have no idea if they served anything on the plane, I was out like a light for the ENTIRE flight. :-P. I had a blast at home. It was really wonderful to see everybody :-). I love my parties, they're so much fun. I hugged more this weekend than I have in the entire past month. It was great to spend so much time with Joecook - he was the first to arrive and the last to leave. You don't realize how much you miss people sometimes until you see them. Rich and Amanda are also talking about visiting me, which is awesome! I constantly think of things I can do when my friends come and visit, and each person/couple has a different list. So I had a "Rich and Amanda" list, that wasn't super exciting (but not boring and lame, either!). But Amanda, being as smart as she is, figured out that she could play with me and send Rich to play with Mikey. Well now, that changes EVERYTHING! The really wacky rock clubs are now back on the list, when before the wildest thing was the piano bar (which is still really fun, and not at all lame!). Mark and Mike have also claimed some Atlanta time this spring, YAY!!! Okay, folks, weekends are filling up FAST, so book your time with me ASAP!!! :-). So I feel sort of gross right now, that's probably the worst thing (way worse than being sleepy). I did pack a toothbrush so I could brush my teeth when my plane landed. But I still feel unfresh in general. I really want to go home and shower. I have my toiletries bag here, maybe I'll just go shower at the gym. Hmm, that's really not a bad idea actually. I don't know. Paulisdead - nice entry. Yes, Mike and I are very much a real couple. I'm glad you're finally starting to acknowledge it ;-). It's actually the longest I've been with somebody without having a first breakup, which is sort of nice and an interesting fact, since I am a serial monogamer. Seven and a half months and counting! Woo hoo! And no, I did not attempt to go to 'nodiarylandforme' or whatever it was :-P. I figured that if he started a diary that I would know about it. Everfound - I have your picture on my desk and everybody who has seen it has told me how beautiful you look :-). I'll bring it home with me today and put it in the real frame and place it on my mantle. But for now it will get some display time on my desk. Scintilae (or however you spell it) - when I get the money together, I'm also going to learn how to blow glass. Oh, and btw, what's with the baby names? Is there something that you and the dead Beatle should tell us? Mizerychick - you look great. Mike said so after you left, but I don't know if he said anything to you about it. Joe Miceli - I forgot how much I miss you! You NEED to come and visit me. Come during summer vacation :-). I'll teach all of my Atlanta friends the JOE dance and we'll greet you with it at the airport :-P mpgreco - thank you for the bondage fairies :-D. I haven't gotten to read them yet, but I'm looking forward to it. KMSL - I'm so glad you made it to my party and brought Mark with you! My mom commented on your tipsiness, always a good sign. Cutie - maybe you should sign up at diaryland. I just checked on Joe's suggested name, and it's not taken. Though, I'm sure you could come up with something better on your own. I had a wonderful weekend with you, and I can't wait until you come and visit me in May. I'm such a sap! But it's okay, because so are you :-P. I'm not going to bore everybody by going on, you know how wonderful thing were :-). Sigh... so much more I could say, but I need to go to class :-(. Well, at least it's really nice out :-P.
