I had the most amazing weekend!!!

Friday:

Department picnic - a great time, despite the wetness. Everybody loved my T shirt design :-).

Heather's party - we started the night at Fado, partied it up at Jelly Rolls, then stuffed our faces at IHOP. It was really funny. At Jelly Rolls we were intent on Beckie picking up a guy. So we sent somebody a drink for her, only to find out that he's gay! But then the bartender gave her his number. Who knows if she'll call, though. I hope so, he was really nice :-).

Saturday:

Inman Park Festival - I can't tell you the last time I had so much fun. There were SO many craft vendors - it puts the Hoboken Arts and Music Festival to shame! There was also this amazing parade. I decided that I want to live in Inman Park. I really do. It is where fate decided I should live, and who am I to question fate? On my lunch break I browsed the web and found a bunch of places for rent in my price range. I'm going to start looking within the next few weeks and hopefully move mid-July. We were out ALL DAY. Once we got back (I went with Ross and Blair) we went to dinner, after which I was ZONKED! I was actually triple booked for that evening and blew off everybody. I just couldn't do it. I was out like a light by midnight. In fact, I got to sleep that late because I was too tired to leave Ross' place earlier than that.

Yesterday:

Heather's BBQ/Pool Party - We spent the day outside grilling out, hanging out, listening to music and generally chilling. It was great! We then went swimming (yup, outside, in April. This is why I LOVE Atlanta). James and I are the chicken fight champs :-), we kicked the crap out of Heather and Eric. It pretty much ruled.

So now I'm all sorts of sunburnt, but it's perfectly okay with me. It was just such an amazing weekend :-).

The good news for today, I met with my boss about TA stuff and told him that I need to sit with him about proposal stuff. So I threw together an outline of what I have and we're meeting tomorrow. Hopefully he'll have some wisdom to share with me. We'll probably meet again in another 10 days. This is a good thing. I want to get that thing done by the end of the summer.

Anyway, I should be studying for my final now. Though, I need to update skinnymalina first :-P.
