I don't want to wait....

I realized yesterday that the kiddies have homework due on Tuesday. That means that my office hours Monday could potentially be a bad situation. That means I have to do homework this weekend. Sigh.... I thought that when I took my very last class it meant the end of my weekends spent doing homework. I forgot about the whole silly TA thing. Oh well, it's thermo 2, and the first assignment is just a review of thermo 1, which I rule at (thermo 2 I'm not really sure about, since Stevens doesn't offer a thermo 2 class in chem e... made graduate thermo real fun! I was all 'Margules whosawhat?').

They held the building dedication this afternoon. It was cute. Only 4 people talked, then they cut the ribbon and fed us cheese and crackers, fresh berries with creme fresh, assorted pastries and fresh baked cookies. It was really yummy :-). They also served orange guava passionfruit juice, which ruled! Man, I drank that stuff like it was water freshman year! I stopped drinking it at every meal once I decided I got too fat, but I still indulged now and again. But it's been 2 years since I've even had the option for it, so it was a very pleasant surprise. Yeah, it doesn't take much....

I may or may not be going out and being wild tonight. I'm supposed to go out to a party at a club with Hensley tonight. The ad says, "Dress to get undressed." I don't know, this party might be too wild for even me. It's a pretty steep covercharge as well - $15. But it could be fun. I've been pretty boring lately - exercising a whole bunch, working long hours, watching bad TV that I love so much. You know how it goes. So I guess a wild party might be a good time. At the very least it will be a spectacle ;-). He invited me because I'm his 'wild' friend. I like that ;-).

Speaking of bad TV, did anybody watch the Dawson's Creek series finale? It ruled! I stopped watching the stupid show years ago because, well, it started pretty bad and got progressively worse. But the last episode was grand. The best part is that it makes fun of itself a whole bunch, which always gains my respect. I won't spoil anything, for those of you who taped it and still haven't seen it.

Man, I am SLEEPY! I want to head home now. I'll probably head home soon. I think I'm going to try to get a nap in before I go out tonight. I also still need to work out. I missed it this morning, because I felt really sick and crappy. I may actually cut out of here a bit early, since all I'm doing right now is updating my journal. Sigh....
