Ha! I didn't miss a thing!!! :-)
2003-02-11 - 9:20 a.m.
Since Beckie is a member of The Front Page News Club (it's a restaurant), she was invited to bring five friends to their new restaurant, Tijuana Garage, for a free dinner. They've never opened their doors before, they only pretended to be open with their own employees on Sunday night. So they wanted some insight on their menu. It was open menu, all free, with a cash bar. We were slated to be there from 7 until 8, but things ran long and I didn't leave until 9:30! But it was good, despite the fact they brought me enchaladas instead of tacos, and they had fried snickers bar on the menu, which was funny because Beckie, Ross and I had talked about that earlier in the day. We had a blast! Ross, Heather, Eric and Timmons made up the rest of the crew. So I got home in time for the last 15 minutes of Joe Millionaire. Ross and I were both upset at the restaurant, so much so that he convinced me to call Mike and have him tape it (well, it didn't take much convincing, he just suggested it and I agreed). But it looks like I picked a good one to miss, as I really didn't miss anything. I saw them all before, so I really didn't need a clip show. I am, however, having a party next week for the finale. I don't know who to invite, besides Ross and Bridget, since I don't know of anybody else who watches the show religiously. Probably Hollie. Anyway, if you read this and want to come to my party, send me an e-mail. I don't want people who aren't going to watch to come, though, because I'm really into the show and as immature as it may be, I'll get mad if they're talking and stuff. And while I'm not limiting the invite to people in the Atlanta area, I'm not offering up crash space at my apartment for anybody who wants to venture in from some other state (since Mike will be in town, you wouldn't want to be there anyway, trust me!). Besides that, I'm in super slow mode today. My alarm went off at 6, but I had a hard time dragging myself around. Probably didn't get into the shower for like 40 minutes or so, I took my sweet old time in there, I curled up in my bed holding the moisturizer bottle for a while before putting it on, took my time making and eating breakfast, and watched some Saved by the Bell before I actually left the apartment. So I've actually been up and moving for 3 1/2 hours. Crazy!!!
